My favourite session with Darin was our photos with wax candles. It was a last minute creative idea, before we did our planned "gory bathtub" shoot, that we set up by seats of our pants and the photos turned out so beautiful. Darin has an incredible eye for beauty and knows exactly how to use lighting, angles, and details to create stunning images. His creativity with editing is surreal, and the final photos always make me feel beautiful and confident.

Darin is so fun and easygoing to work with, in our boudoir sessions he's professional, mindful, and has always made sure I feel respected and comfortable during every shoot.

I have had several opportunities to work with Darin Clisby. On most occasions, we have collaborated to produce several themes over the span of a few days, or a few hours. Darin has always brought the highest standard of professionalism, artistry, and creativity.

Darin is always well-prepared to execute an idea. Whether it is a strict plan or more improvisational. Story boards, inspiration images, writing out the process and planning each shot. He works both in studio and outdoors, and, always finds the best location and lighting. During planning, he invites ideas and offers ways to expand on them as appropriate, in a truly collaborative manner. At other times, he has taken a nebulous idea, costume, or thought, and improvised on the spot. This versatility is really fun and always an adventure.

During a session, Darin is respectful of the model/subject/photographer relationship and conducts himself with the comfort and safety of the subject always at the forefront. He works efficiently. In many instances, photographers have not been mindful of my need for breaks and rest due to my disability; however, Darin plans for breaks and keeps himself aware of anything too strenuous. His calm personality creates a safe environment for modesty, but also an environment that encourages exploration within the scope of the project and boundaries of the model.

I have always been pleased that Darin's photo turnaround time is a few days at most, and he shares the images freely. He often allows further editing if one wishes to do so. Darin is always imaginative and highly artistic with his edits. Capturing the most in camera, and taking it one step further using a variety of editing tools. You can glance through his portfolio and see some truly amazing works. It is quite the privilege to be the subject in one of these endeavors.

My favourite parts about working with Darin are his creative direction and expertise. He allows one to self direct and then will offer suggestions for posing and position, or a simple, "what if we try this?" It always seems to take the concept to the next level. He explains the reasons for certain choices, and educates during the shoot. I've learned so much in the few times we have been able to collaborate.

I have always had a wonderful experience when I have collaborated with Darin and I hope that we are able to create again in the future.

I LOVED our black light shoot and I hope we get a chance to collaborate again. I still get constant compliments on those photos. The session was very comfortable and we had good conversation. I felt absolutely safe and nothing was inappropriate. The results were outstanding, the concept felt so fresh and was beautifully executed. I truly felt so gorgeous and i still feel like i have rarely looked as captivating as i did in those photos. It required very little work on my part, the artistry was in the photos themselves.
